Tondo

Tondo je termín pro malbu nebo sochařské dílo (reliéf) kruhového tvaru, z italského slova rotondo. Svého největšího uplatnění tonda dosáhla v 15. století ve Florencii v tvorbě italských umělců Sandra Botticelliho, Michelangela Buonarrotiho a Raffaela Santiho.

My jsme měli k dispozici kruhy o průměru 70 cm. Tématem bylo 15 století a vyzkoušeli jsme si přenášení zlatých plátků na malbu. Výtvarníci měli volnou ruku a svou Madonu si vytvořili podle svého. Nic snadného to nebylo. Malba postupně vznikala 10 lekcí.
